Benefits and Concerns for the New Game and Cybertown
5.1 Benefits:
Members and Non-Members will become interested in Cytonian Politics and see from the conflicts the benefit of our more open system.
The benefit of a new game involving anyone interested and then incorporating their ideas creates a sense of ownership, just like building the city does. For game players, it creates a new avenue of creation, participation and fun.
Attraction of new members. We have already chatted with a few returning members who expressed interest in the New Game.
Members become more active.
Improvement of 3D worlds.
Members will come together for fun, new reasons to use the site daily, many common goals, new friends, learn and participate in new ways and yet be able to participate in building Cybertown into the premier 3D world we already know it is!
The benefit of a new game for Cybertown provides another market for recruitment at no additional charge. WITH membership it becomes a FREE game. Perhaps it could even be marketed as a separate product, or a separate boot camp or introduction scenario that is free could be created.
The additional possibility of using Silhouette create an entirely new level of possible play.
There is the possibility of new partners for Cybertown. Game makers, creators through to publishers.
Downsides
Will require editing of 3D, some simple, some not as easy, offers many new possibilities for world builders.
Needs large amount of cooperation with city officials and places staff to include parts of Cybertown within the game, at the discretion of city officials and place chiefs.
We will need ways to publicize and show off activities. Our proposals are open to possibilities, ongoing development and site needs/requirements.
