Creators Choice Awards 3
A Huge Success!!!
morning.star for CCA
The whispery quiet of the Museum's Lobby was broken with the sounds of Cybertown folks arriving for the 2008 CCA3 Ceremony
last Saturday night. All manner of folks drifted in and mingled.
The quiet tinkle of glasses and soft murmur of voices filled the rooms surrounding the inner courtyard garden. All was hushed
excitement and anticipation. The guests moved around the Lobby enjoying the scented night air, pausing frequently to examine the artful
displays. Soft faery musics provided the aural texture this night. The orchestra's sounds seeped sweetly into every corner of the
building and every corner of every heart there. A deep feeling of MYSTERY colored the evening.
While they awaited the commencement of the evening's ceremony, Team members Riva28 and Columns gave each guest a special
Alchemists Temple gift to thank them for their support of the Creators Choice Awards. Suddenly, the magical musicians burst into
glorious arpeggios culminating in a majestic crown of sound! Spangling notes cascaded through the air tinkling grandly and an
expectant silence filled the room. CCA3 Team Members sylphie and cheercoach, robes swishing gracefully, moved through the crowd
discreetly directing the guests to the rear ballroom area. A single spotlight flared and panned impressively across the room catching the
figure of the Curator, Morning.star, elegantly sweeping onto the stage. With a flourish the Curator greeted the esteemed guests ...
"Ladies and Gentlemen! Faefolk, Four-footed, Feathered and Fairfolk! Earthly, Alien, Metal and Ethereal! Were, Vamp, and Downright
Scary Creatures! It is our privilege and pleasure to present to you the Third Annual Creator's Choice Awards !!! Thank you for joining
us this evening to celebrate CT's Creators and Artists!
Each year the CCAs, responsive to current fashion and feeling, and the growth and development that comes with each year, are a little
different from the year before. We started the CCAs out with 21 categories, grew to 26 last year, and 27 this year. In previous years,
the vast bulk of entries have been in the object categories. This year the arts categories grew enormously to make up nearly half of the
27 categories!
This evening we are awarding 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies, the number of trophies awarded in a category depend on the number of
entries in that category. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners also receive cc prizes! 1st place ... 1 mil cc!!! 2nd place ... 500k cc!! and
3rd place ... 250k cc! After the ceremony the party will continue with cheercoach tempting your knowledge, memory and mental acuity
with 50 trivia and scramble games!"
The Curator thanked coffinpest and the Mall staff for assisting in the preparations; Columns and cheercoach for their creative efforts
in fashioning this year's trophies and objects; all of those who voted on the 145 entries; everyone attending the Ceremony; and this
year's CCA Team who pitched in without complaint everywhere where it was needed! The Curator continued ...
"They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And indeed, it is. Each act of art we celebrate today is a masterpiece of creativity. And
each is a treasured work of art, generously brought into the world for our enjoyment. For that gift, we thank each and every one of our
35 entrants! Tonight we stand in awe of CT's VRML Alchemists ... Beca, BitsofHeaven, BombyBarb, cheercoach, Columns,

Without further ado! The time has come to turn our admiration to those whose art and vrml work has garnered the acclaim of those
who voted in this year's CCAs!"
A wild display of spots panned across the staging area zeroing in on center stage. A band of desert gypsies struck up an alien dance
tune in the garden area of the Museum while a conga line of exotic dancers snaked sinuously through the crowd ... The guests went
WILD!!!! "Are we at the wrong party," they whispered? Nope! those dancers were this year's delivery system! The envelopes had
