Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : rHawk62975 : For those of you who aren_t familiar with the way this briefing is being held today, we are using the same system that we use for concerts in order to spread the load on the servers.

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : How it works is that the hall is split into many rooms each of which hold a certain number of people. The people in each room can talk to those in the same room.

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : Those on the stage can talk to all the rooms but cannot see or hear what is said in the rooms. Now, on to your survey replies:

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : 1) The top-requested item was custom uploadable homes and more house customizability so we are working with the World Builders and the Comm Techs to devise a workable system to enable residents to create and upload custom homes that other residents can...

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : We_re also investigating the feasibility of allowing you to change textures in your existing houses and also the ability to block people from your house (or club).

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : 2) There was a lot of attention on introducing more newbies to CT. These are some of the results of your requests and suggestions in that area:

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : A Quick Start Guide for the NewComer_s Club that Florence has designed and DeannaTroi is working on proofing. This is an extraordinarily good introduction to CT for newbies.

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : It is illustrated and extremely detailed yet very easy to follow and use and it will also be on the Control Panel.

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : Also, to make things easier for newbies to better experience CT, last month we opened the Plaza to newbie chat and we removed the credit card restriction from the 30 Day Free Trial.

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : Since then we_ve been getting between 100 and 150 new people signing up daily and daily and monthly visits are up 16% from the previous month. So the re-growth has started :)

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : Additionally, we are increasing the newbie citycash sign-up amount to 5,000 c.c._s and the referral amount to 2,000 cc_s.

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : 3) Town-wide and Inter-Colony Events and Games and Contests was a much requested item and what we are going to do is:

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : a) Get with the Events Committee and the Council to discuss and plan out city-wide and inter-Colony events and contests with prizes.

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : b) Go through the past popular events and contests and figure out how to bring back those that are technically feasible (e.g. the Lottery).

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : c) Now that we can more accurately gauge the Colony activity by actual statistics (visits, time spent etc.), we have instituted a monthly prize system for the Colonies with the most activity or most time spent.

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : The top prize is 1 million c.c. and a new Colony feature of their choice. Last month the winner was Inner Realms and they chose a new custom control panel for their Colony, which is now installed and features a beautiful design by Com.Graphics Halogen.

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : d) We are instituting a _Best Homes Award and Gallery_ and _CT Colonist of the Month_ awards. Watch the Daily News for information about this.

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : 4) Job and pay system revisions were also much requested. The Council is completing work on the new more equitable pay and jobs structure that is more appropriate to the current Cybertown.

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : 5) More 3D worlds were also requested and we are going to get with the World Builders and design contests for them to create new 3D worlds for Cybertown and also look at what feature upgrades we can do to existing worlds.

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : 6) There has been a lot of upset about goings-on at the Mall and a special Committee was set up to look into this and to propose new Guidelines to help fix this. The Mall Committee is close to finishing these new Mall Guidelines to make things better for

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : Also, we_re looking into how to fix the problem of not always being able to see all items in a backpack and also into if we can add the ability to buy from storage bins.

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : 7) Crashes/technical problems _ we are going to update the _How to Stop Crashes_ page in Cybertown with all the information that the Com.Techs and Caretaker Vialle have amassed in recent years.

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : Also, we are looking into whether Community Server 6 will solve such problems as member and object counters going completely inaccurate when a lot of people are there,

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : names turning into dots so you don_t know who_s talking, not loading all the people or all the objects, lag, problems with trying to drop objects into homes, problems with IE6 and with XP and, if so, finding out what it would take to install it in CT and

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : 8) Sponsorship rewards _ those who sponsored others were promised that they would receive rewards for doing so and we apologize for the fact that these haven_t been given yet.

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : The programmer who has to write the script to get the database to provide the lists of those who did so has been very swamped with handling new coding issues due to the subscription system, the 30 day Free Trial and security issues beefing up the

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : infrastructure and providing more tools for Security to better be able to do their jobs. He will be providing us the information soon and then we will be able to give those promised rewards.

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : We are also looking into better message delete capabilities and better _send to_ capabilities and we_re also looking into the possibility of providing more 3D club choices and a number of other things.

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : IVN_s _Silhouette_ technology is in Alpha stage and CT residents will be able to be involved in the beta when it reaches that stage.

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : In other survey information, very interestingly, only 1% complained about our Security team _ which is by far the lowest I have ever seen :)

Club Ownerfrankster4003357 : Hawk62975 : Also those complaining about the political system in CT dropped to a very low less than 4% and showed that the vast majority do not have problems with it. It sometimes seems like more but it_s just that those who do have the problems
