[editor comment: Promised back in March, The titles of over 50 News staffers have been deleted. wishing to have fun with this sad event, we have created this story.]
"Following months of dragging our feet, we have in the time honored tradition of the city, removed titles from those who have apparently stopped participating in CVN. It was a difficult decision, because we like to think that we provide opportunities to have fun. As always, no one is refused at CVN from the opportunity to earn a title by writing and becoming published. Two usable activities such as a web page and an article as was recently completed by Adira (and expected to be published in our first December issue) are all that is necessary to earn our CVN title. " jdb_educator told us.
In fact over 50 individuals have actually had their titles removed as CVN participants. Any errors will of course be corrected upon evidence of participation, contact from the former title holder and especially the supervising editor of the Cybertown related news magazine, , news letter or Cybertown related journal where the writer is published. jdb_educator explained "All colony and hood and other newsletters may also request a CVN title for their active Cybertown staff members who have met our two useful contributions and continue to meet the qualification of contributing at least one new published story, graphic, web page or other useful activity necessary per week (or four per month.)"
"However." jdb_educator stated, "with no contacts or delete request from them, we just went ahead with the deletion process. There will be more deletions."
Looking weary from fighting with software applications and copy/paste, jdb_educator, told us "We may end up with no CVN staff members at all or a number of new staff. Communication among staff is vital, and the news has to be available to our citizens in central, easy to access, locations. Currently We do have several sources of news in Cybertown. That is a good fun thing for the City! It provides increased activity. CVN Weekly is attempting to locate all of them and have a central location directory available 24/7. The Weekly, like all Internet News Magazines needs to have new, interesting content for their readers. Unfortunately it is a volunteer organization, paying only in Cybertown City Cash, appreciation and fun. Each writer DOES have their own real life, sometimes multiple jobs in both their real and virtual lives. We Do effusively thank each past, current and future contributor to our magazine, and consider each title delete as a loss. Any deleted title holder is welcome to return to CVN and contribute. In fact any citizen may send us articles. We never promise to publish, but make sincere efforts to provide feedback and use what we can.
