.....In these times of Internet exploration, the best connection has become and still is, the cable modem. Why? (Yes, I hear you thinking.) Because it is the fastest connection and because you don't waste any time waiting for a connection.

.....But on the other side, the dark side, it's also a good connection for hackers to get into, that and cost are the only major disadvantages we see. If you have a firewall program installed, you are a little safer behind your computer. And you are constantly connected. Cable is also a good connection because it allows you to follow live events online ( e.g. listening to radio online, watching Web TV, etc. ... ). You also have more possibilities than the "classic" telephone line . Online communities (e.g Cybertown :-) ) and chatting go much faster and downloading a file is soooo fast and easy. And those files keep growing larger, have you noticed?

.....Now, Telenet ( I'm from Belgium, so it is Telenet ) is an example of a cable provider in Belgium . It is the best in Belgium . Why ? Because the other companies, don't use TV cable to surf on the Net . So that is why, in MY opinion, Telenet in Belgium is the best a computer user can get .
