Have you ever had Hotsync stop working or AvantGo stop syncing on your palm? Well if it were a PC, you'd reboot. Palm devices don't just reboot though. Today, I bring you two ways to reset/reboot your Palm Device that don't involve scouring the house or office for paperclips.
The first method doesn't require any special software or anything. Take out your stylus and unscrew the tip of it (in some cases such as the Palm VII, you unscrew the top of your stylus), on the other side will be a somewhat pointy stick attached to it. Insert it into the reset button in the back of your Palm and voila!! In Handspring Visors, the top of your stylus is a little screwdriver, handy for taking your pilot apart (not that you'd do that or anything) or tightening the screws on your glasses!!!
The second method involves a downloaded utility. The program you need to download is ATool, a small, free, 7k utility for the Palm OS! ATool not only give you the ability to reset your palm with the touch of a button, but it has a battery graph, time differences, and a handy coin toss tool!!! ATool is a free download from CNet Download.com.
