Game Review: Max Payne
-By thepanther101 for CVN.

You, the player, start off as the average New York cop, with an attitude to boot. Your wife and baby have been murdered and you’re on the hunt for the killers. Higher up in the chain of the New York underworld there’s a group of people that want you to be framed for that murder and then safely tucked away in some jail. Levels after levels of intense play and mind boggling maps that are sure to keep you up on your caffeine fix for at least another month. The game has two main aspects Real Time and Slow Time. Both add aspects to the game like the movie Matrix.

Quotes:

"Many games promised to put you in a action movie, Max Payne actually does it." - GamesMania

"A third-person shooter that borrows back all the magic that the movie Matrix stole from games. Then doubles it with perfect moves" MSNBC

"Max Payne is about as gritty as a computer game can get and just as good looking"- GameSport

Personal Option Section:

It took this reporter 3 weeks of rigorous playing to even beat the game. Evil people pop up all over creating this action packed game of the year. Developed by REMEDY, it is chock full of non-stop fun and by no means is it easy. For an over all rating (PG, NR-X and so on) I rate this a PG-14. There are some brutal fight scenes which keep you hooked. I'm personally recommending this game for those readers into 3'rd person shooters who like one deep and lively story line.
