Word Processors
by crayiscool, cub-reporter for CVN

Microsoft Word 2000 is only one example of a word processor. We will talk about word processors in general. They are very useful in RL and on the Internet! If you do not have one, you should try to get one. Some with less features are available free on the Internet.

If you have sloppy hand writing, are lazy, cannot spell, need to write correctly for CVN or other Cybertown and Internet activities, or just have trouble with your grammar in your own language then find a word processor like Microsoft Word 2000!

Say for instance you are doing a report for school, CVN or work, you will want to have a nice readable report. Perhaps even using a fancy looking font. In MS Word, go to Format > Font, on the far left, you should see many fonts. Then choose one and start typing. If you have a word that you can't spell then use the spelling and grammar feature by going to Tools > Spelling and Grammar. After all writers must please their editor to get published! And it takes two published CVN articles to get the title.

Look for features before you download or buy a word processor. There are many available and if you are CVN they help a lot.

Some of our favorite features of MS Word 2000 are:

1. Changing Background Colors using many different colors! 2. Many choices of fonts!
3. Inserting Nice Pictures
4. Making graphs or tables
5. Spelling and grammar checks
