Fascinating
An innovative e-mail service

We rarely click ads here, unless they look intriguing. That means the service has to look extremely good or the offer is something we really need here at CVN. Recently an ad for http://www.returnpath.net/ "popped up". This next address may or may not work, but here is the ad we saw, from focalex: http://load.focalex.com/deals/returnpath/red.html The site and the ad are both worth a look, especially if you want to have ads, or mail come to another address, or just clear your inbox. It seems obvious and likely that both writer and sender must be members. Their faq is located at http://www.returnpath.net/faq/

In reading through the information, the following jumped out to us:

"Return Path's network partners may also collect information from users when they update their e-mail address at network partners' web sites, and may then send the information to Return Path, if the user has opted-in to the Return Path e-mail change of address service. "

This looks like a service to advertisers too, for updating addresses. Still and all, this has some ease of use that makes it a help in updating and correcting old lost e-mail. How well it works remains to be seen. You automatically register when you type in an old address and your current address.

Although, advertisers are not supposed to use the address if the individual has made the request for no more ads from you, please. Only time, return path's membership base and customer use will tell how well it works. From there documentation, they may have been around since 2000, if so, it looks like they are beginning to spread the word. Certainly this was their first ad we have seen, recalled and actually clicked.
