Film review:

Final Fantasy

By Skaila

CVN Rating = B+
The story begins in the year 2065. A meteor has crashed on Earth and with it unleashed millions of aliens. Their only goal is to kill the people around them. The survivors have found a hideaway. Where they can be safe for these "phantoms", that's how the humans call these aliens. Why "Phantoms?" They have no physical body, and seem to exist out of nothing but thin air.

Dr. Aki Ross tries to find out their purpose here on Earth together with her mentor, Dr. Sid, and Gray Edwards, a member of the Deep Eyes Squad, who is determined to guarantee Dr. Aki's safety.

She and Dr. Sid have been working for years to try to find a way to get rid of the aliens. But General Hein is also planning to do this, but with rather more malicious ways. He wants to blast them away with a canon called "Zeus", but during that process will lead to the destruction of Earth.

When you are starting to watch the film, you are wondering how characters made by a computer will ever make you believe they are real persons. And yet it does. Not only through the very impressive graphics, but also by the story
itself. The story may seem complicated at first, but as the story advances, the deeper you will get drawn into it.
