Cybertown NG (Next generation) is currently on hold. Originally it was expected to be completed in 2001. It will be the greatest CT ever with a live concert hall, virtual banking system, peeps could drive their own car or ride a cab. The plaza may be HUGE. You could probably get lost the first time around if it wasn't for the CT guides in the Tourist Center located in the heart of downtown, and then those ACTUAL VRML TVS IN THE HOUSES with user-created content! But the dream is STILL on hold for a short while...until peeps start taking action for this possibility.
If EVERYONE in CT helped Tony (Hawk) get the money so the team would get cracking on it (they are still on the second step of the project) ...getting the moolah, money, payola for the designer and programmer paychecks (because they will be asking for a pretty nice salary, these things are rarely cheap!) and with other people working on NG, we could see the future reborn even FASTER!
How about finding, identifying and signing up a sponsor? You'll get ten percent commission for every sponsor you sign up?
