CVN Weekly congratulates and sends hugz to our new mayor Jolinth who is being auctioned off Sunday at the Carribean Auction in Virtual worlds.
Cytonia Productions has an incredible movie trailer for their upcoming ePlex video production of "Avatar" in the Daily News also...on Cybertown. It is awesome! Our congrats to staff there!! LOL We hope you are reading the Cybertown Daily News!
The biggest change in the Weekly will be continually less coming from me and more from other section heads or we will br providing far less content to our readers. It is likely that this little column will provide most of my writing efforts on a weekly basis, unless more time becomes free. Short edits, reviews of pages and sections and of course email and possibly helping with writing grants will be most of my CVN and Cybertown written participation. I personally plan on finding chatting time to keep upwith all my friends in CT, since lol so many of them won't email me! *looks at all those friends with sad, lonely puppy dog eyes with one tear running down the right cheek... (think that will work, readers? *wink*) Publication of CVN Weekly is now on Saturday, with this second Saturday publication. Other sections can publish on whatever day works for them. They just need to send out their email notice so they are linked in our weekly issue.
For this issue of the Weekly: The fun pages continuing, we have new technology stories and reviews ... The Writing Zone continues to provide content. Although or section chief is off making money on web sites this week, so no real change in material content. We have complete chat pictures and links in outr Vir-Con section. That set of stories, interviews and pictures took some time!.
We have blondie-101 taking over the teens section. Other hoods in teens will hopefully get some exposure!and are welcome to join, and send their news for this page!
CVN at the movies has a review this week Be sure to check there! Seina continues to edit Unkka Jim for me and Dolly66 may be returning. She is welcome back anytime! lol My writing time has vanished. It seems to be focused on web research and lesson plan writing for my real life classes.
Serious editors with time, interest and ability, who can make at least simple html pages are definitely needed Contact jdb_educator@msn.com.
We have new music review pages, and our business section.
CVN Biography will continue, and stay up. There are certainly long delays in content addition there, but the quality of writing is superior. I will just hope and pray they get some more up! We expect to move it to a new publication now in the planning stages, perhaps the VIRT when it makes a re-appearance... The music pages appear to be gone As you can see we are still providing
lots of information and fun reading to Cybertown! As always, we extend our Congrats to those few who are writing and sending. YOU are CVN. "Thank You!"
So read on and enjoy :) Be sure to come back next week or even more often this week!
Here at CVN we have lots of new activities and pages developing. All the CVN Deputies agreed everyone in management should have their own page or section! As we continue this dynamic experiment in Internet journalism, We hope you look forward to more and varied content, lots of activities and neat contests from around the city.
Our focus is simple: fun, entertainment, good and reasonable content, and the improvement of writing. Our goal is to report the news in Cybertown that does not duplicate the Daily News or would be more appropriate for this magazine format.
Job openings and possibilities are, as always, wide open. Anyone who wants to play, learn, grow, and work is welcome. A request for a job, or application and two contributions to our news organization that we publish in the Daily News or the Weekly News are required for Cybertown titles and virtual pay.(the only kind we can afford!)
