In Metaverse (Virtual worlds we have an interesting Halloween Contest:

Enter the Metaverse Digital Pumpkin Carving Contest.
Categories will include:

1) Photos of pumpkins that you've carved yourself.
2) Digital art that is pumpkin related.
3) Animated art that is pumpkin related i.e. animated gifs and flash animations.,br>
Specifications:

All file sizes cannot exceed 150k
Must be of or include a pumpkin.
Must be your own original artwork or photo not something that was taken from a web site somewhere.

Yes, we will be checking.

All entries must be submitted no later than October 31st Awards will be announced Nov. 5th

Prizes awarded for first, second and third place in all three categories.

5000ccs for first place
2500ccs for second
1000ccs for third

CT Beach Date Auction!


The first in a series of events being brought to you by the new CT Wide Party Committee. The CT Beach Date Auction is scheduled for the 5th of October at 2pm at Sunset Beach.

It promises to be an amazing event, with some of the most familiar names from across our fair city up for auction. Confirmed names to go under the auctioneers gravel so far include: Gummi_bear, MsCrysis, Darbi, Dannigirl825, icyty, Seina, Kimppa, ashesflame, Jason_RC, editme and Tish_and_Gomez, with more surprises in store on the day.

The proceeds of this will be used for future City Wide events that are being planned and it has the makings of a fun event not to be missed. Looking forward to seeing you all there as the fun gets underway.
