---Thursday December 29 --- Contest time continues. Entries will be judged on their own, as the come in. You are not competing with anyone, just the few rules we have. WE tried to blend old and new contest ideas, to provide more opportunities for you to have fun!. Here is what we have coming! The results will probably be spread out for our January Publications. Some contests are short time "get er done now" contests. Others allow you to leisurely proceed or just enough time to completely forget we actually have contests...

1. CVN is offering several writing contests: very short story, short story and poetry for Both Christmas and New Year (Three separate contests).

No rules for stories or poetry, any length, seasonal subject matter and we will sort entries into these rough guidelines. Send as a text file or post to our inbox. You can webpage it and send the link. If we love it you WILL win 1 million CCs! All entries will get a minimum of 100, 000 CCs. Entries will be judged on their own, as the come in. You are not competing with anyone, just the few rules we have. :
Very Short Story: 50 to 100 words, a complete story!

Sweating buckets, Arnold Colwater III looked at the red button on the Doomsday1 site. He pressed it. Nothing happened for 37 seconds. Then ... The page opened to the Mayan Calendar and a countdown clock! Had Arnie started the countdown to the End of the world? He and the rest of the world would find out in less than a year.

2. Screenshots: CVN is requesting screenshots of your house for (this can be either your real house or Cybertown 3D house. Yes we have two contests here too: a house screenshot contest for best 2D Christmas and another for 2D New years. Since almost all photographs are 2D, well you get the idea. If we love your entry, you WILL win 1 million CCs! All suitable entries will get a minimum of 100, 000 CCs. Entries will be judged on their own, as the come in. You are not competing with anyone, just the few rules we have. :

3. Fav Links: For fun and perhaps reader exploration, we offer " a favorite Links" contest. Submit your favorite non-Cybertown link! All individuals/entries will get a minimum of 25, 000 CCs. Entries will be judged on their own, as the come in. You are not competing with anyone, just the few rules we have. :

5. Fav location: We will be running a "my favorite Cybertown location" contest. All individuals/entries will get a minimum of 25, 000 CCs. Entries will be judged on their own, as the come in. You are not competing with anyone, just the few rules we have. :.
