A Valentine's Wish

     Many people seem to enjoy saying that "Love is not enough." Truly there are times that seems to be true.

Even granting the possibility of love not being enough, I would like you consider that there are few better places to start than with the process that leads to love, whether romantic, idealistic, or purely out of friendship.

"Love makes the world go 'round" according to the old song. It adds fun, pleasure, excitement and all the lovely spices to life that let us celebrate being alive. Like all emotions we humans have, the process must start with you, the individual. We have to start by liking ourselves to truly care about others. Jealosy, anger, rage do not come from love. They come from fear and pain. The world is as full of those feelings as it is of people who hate themselves. There is a relationship.

Most of us, if we admit it, have some part of ourselves that we do not like, often that we cannot stand. We can choose to try to change, accept who we are or not even try to change what we do not like. Change IS hard, but after all, what is life about other than change? (hmmmm... ok, let me slide on that one, so I can make my point and wrap up this editorial or we will go another 1000 words!(grin).

Life is about growth, learning, achieving and having fun. We will lways meet and find people who want to take each one of those wonderfl things from us. Here in Cybertown, we tend to meet more people than in that mean, old, cruel cold, real world who actually will encourage us. This is one of the fabulous gifts of Cybertown! Celebrate that gift! Use that gift! Have fun with the gift of Cybertown.
