Dear Dust:
If four people rent a car for one week at $100 dollars per week, they would each pay $25 dollars! But if two people were single, and the other two married, would it be the same? Or would the married couple pay a third? It just doesn't feel right that the married couple would pay $50 while the other couple pay $25 dollars each! Do you have any thoughts on this?
Dear Rental:
I just don't see what being married has to do with it! If a married couple goes to an event, they buy two tickets! And even if they get a reduced rate they certainly would not expect the unmarried couple to make up the differnce! Instead the seller simply takes less!, So, if a a married couple want to pay less than the two single people they would request the discount from the rental car company itself!Remember less is more...more or less.
Dear Dusty:
What would be the best and worst attributes of computers who may do our thinking for us in the future?
Dear Do Our Thinking:
It is simple logic. Let me compute that. ...working.... The worse scenario would be that computers have no emotions, and thus, with no emotions, they would become like our editor here at CVN! lol
Dear Dusty:
MY friend plays a lotto on a regular basis. Now the odds of his winning are astronomically astrological and he has hardly ever won! Johnny plays for the first time on Joes's last attempt! Are Joes' chances of winning any better than Moe's?
Dear Speculative:
No, I would suspect they are the same! Each lottery is a separate drawing and I would assume those odds are the same with each player playing! Unless of course you think the slot machines are a lotto.
