I want people to actually follow the clues and try to find out who the murderer is.....so in a few days would you post this like we spoke about? That way it can all stay straight. Thanks!

Murder in the Caribbean Islands by sassyq22
Half an hour ago you received a strange phone call at the VW plaza. The caller reported excitedly that there had been a murder in the Caribbean Islands. In the same breath, however, the caller said that it can not possibly have happened. Then they hung up the phone… Now what did THAT mean? You think to yourself. You jump into your car and head toward the beach. You are now standing alone on the beach in the Isles.
Actually, your boss, Zoozee, is usually responsible for things like this. She would never let you investigate a murder alone. (Particularly since it's the first murder case in this area.) But this evening Zoozee was not there. She is visiting her parents-in-law in Entertainment and it will take a few hours before she gets back.
You enter the Library of the home and see that a woman is lying on the floor. She is in her early 20's, slim, rather attractive. She is wearing a low cut black cocktail dress. The marks on her neck suggest that she was strangled.
You remember Zoozee's favorite saying: "You don't learn anything when you're talking. Let the others talk. Listen and observe. The truth always comes out in the silence"
Observe body:
The dead woman is in her early 20's, slim, and rather attractive. Other than the strangulation marks on her neck, you do not notice anything in particular about the body. The deceased has nothing with her. There is a piece of cord of some type lying slightly under the body with just a small part showing.
Go into Drawing room:
You are in the drawing room, there are crackers and juice on the table. Sassyq22, the lady of the house stares at you in silence with fire from the fireplace reflecting in her eyes, as if an internal fire burns within.
Talk to sassyq22:
"Hello, I expect you to bring this monstrous travesty to an end quickly. The fact that no one in our family is the murderer means that the crime can only have been committed by an outsider. IsTheLionK will confirm that for you. Therefore, you need not look here any further. That is all I have to say concerning this or her." She snarls as she says the last word and points to the body lying in the library.
Talking to istlionk:
"Hello, what can I do for you?"
"What happened here this evening?"
"I heard Ms. Smith screaming. I then ran past wave.os into the library. But all I saw was Ms. Smith lying on the floor."
"How fast were you running?"
"I ran very fast from the kitchen into the library. I could already see from the dining room into the drawing room. The murderer couldn't have left without my seeing. But the murderer was gone. I do not understand how."
"Tell me who the deceased is…"
"That was Ms. Smith. I do not know any more about her. wave.os is the owner of this house. First-class man. You can find Mr. wave.os there in the dining room." (He points to the right.)
This is the dining room. The table has been cleared but the smell of dinner still hangs in the air. A man is sitting at the table. He speaks to you:
"It's a good thing that you are here! This is terrible! A murder here in the Isles! That poor woman… "(He seems visibly shaken) You ask him, "You are wave.os, the head of the house?"
"That is correct." Wave.os says "And this is Y_L, my business partner." (The man he introduced you to just nods slightly without any hint of expression. Almost stone like...)
Is there any way I can assist you in clearing up this dreadful crime?" Wave.os asks.
"Where were you at the time of the murder?"
"I was here in the dining room. Y_L and I were playing cards, but today was not my lucky day."
"So... at the time of the murder Y_L was with you the whole time?" You ask.
"No, I was alone." He says. "Y_L had just gone upstairs, I think he wanted to fetch a book." "So you were completely alone?" You ask.
"That is correct." He says.
"Tell me about the deceased":
"Today was the first time I ever saw the poor thing. One of my relatives brought her. I'm afraid I cannot remember who, I didn't pay close attention." "When did Ms. Smith arrive?" You ask. "She arrived yesterday approx. 1:30 p.m. I know it was around this time because we had just finished our last jump at 1:00" wave says.
" Jump?" you ask.
"Yes. Parachutes."
"What did you mean by 'not your lucky day?'"
"Well, Y_L was consistently winning with straights and flushes and I kept getting terrible hands. I can tell you that it was expensive. But it doesn't matter, I can afford it."
Talk to Y_L:
"I would like to know where you were during the murder?"
"I was in my room and just in the process of looking for a book which I wanted to read. One which I would actually like to read now."
"Can you tell me about the deceased?"
"No, I only saw her for the first time this evening. I was with wave.os and the rest parachuting, and then I had a date till late. So I slept in this morning."
You enter the kitchen. The furnishings are old-fashioned. In the corner there is still an old cast-iron stove. It must be hard work cooking in here.
Talk to the parrot:
"*SQUAWK* Petey want a cracker! *SQUAWK*"
Talk to jdb_educator the cook:
He looks at you expectantly, but doesn't say anything.
"What can you tell me about the deceased?"
"Poor Ms. Smith. It's simply terrible!" (The parrot caws "Terrible!" in the background.)
You catch yourself at how his pronunciation surprises you. You had been expecting a difficult conversation in broken words. But jdb_educator speaks without an accent. You ask yourself whether Inspector Zoozee would have made the same mistake. A good CTer should never have preconceived ideas whilst on a case.
"Did you know her?"
"No, I didn't know her. Today was the first time that I knew she was here. But she didn't belong to this family, of that I am certain."(The parrot caws again "Terrible!". jdb_educator turns around and hisses "Be quiet Petey!")
"What was she doing here?"
"I don't know. It's true I did see her today, but she didn't belong to the family and she had never visited here before. Perhaps IsTLionK knows with whom she arrived. He is our butler."
"What can you tell me about wave.os?"
"Wave.os is a good man. I've looked after him for a good many years now. Surely you don't believe he had anything to do with it. He could never..."
"What time was dinner served?"
"I served the dinner at seven o'clock. Mr. wave.os places a great deal of importance on punctuality. There is some roast beef left over. Would you like a piece?"
Take the roast beef:
He laughs and says "Oh, I know, people are always hungry." He goes to the refrigerator, gets a thick slice of roast beef and wraps it up for you.
"Was everyone there on time?"
"I let the smell of the roast waft through the house. They are always punctual then." He laughs.
"Anything unusual happen at dinner tonight?"
"No, I don't think so. Actually, everything was perfectly normal."
