The Journey begins

Virtual vs. Real Life

Part 1

You cannot imagine how happy I am! Cybertown brings to my eyes a shine lacking for a long time. I spent all day long in Cybertown. Between my domestic chores ( Wednesdays I make jam and bake bread for my parents). it was so fun and exciting having such a place to go while I performed my duties!

I saw coffinpest was online and sent this person (I do not know if coffinpest is male or female) an instant message , thanking and praising a gorgeous creation , a myrtle tree I found, which is a poem in pink, truly a gift to all Cybertown's citizens.

He/she is very kind and has a wonderful philosophy that should be emulated by other creators. Some of the items sold at the Flea Market are so expensive that I cannot even figure that someday I will have half of that money. It seems that everybody spends their time in the Flea Market all the time!

All the other places were empty. I went to the plaza and welcomed a visitor from Taiwan and later two others. They stayed a long time and later said they would return.

I am sure there are some things I can do to bring people to Cybertown, It deserves the best . I read speeches and interviews , and I can well imagine what Cybertown was some time ago. And it will be like it once was, because it must be preserved at all costs. I simply don't like the other virtual communities I visited. Not that I had spent more than a couple hours there, but it was enough to know that I would never enjoy being there.

Who Am I?

A brief introduction

I am a former executive working at home translating, due to my health problems. I had to leave my well beloved job. At the same time, I felt the need of doing some voluntary work, and decided to dedicate my time and my love to children with brain paralysis, in the "Mensageiros da Luz"

http://www.mensageirosdaluz.org.br/. is a home-hospital for these very special children. I was a volunteer, at first, then became a director(without wages, of course), gave lectures and speeches at symposiums and took care of the Library.
