Halloween 2014
Pictures Directed by Lilly03

Lilly set up, organized, directed, wrote, and took pictures of the set using items available or purchased from IMVU: http://fr.imvu.com/ . While these are in her possession, the creative ownership rights of the properties belong to IMVU. Lilly03 graciously allowed us to freely share these with you with that acknowledgement.

CVN rather freely translated the text and set up the page.

I must tell you, dear friend, I like to play in a virtual world called IMVU. I bought a very special room for this one night. Yes, it is a little dark but it is an elegant room just for me. I like it.

It looks pretty ordinary, but if you look closely, it really isn't ordinary at all. You can click on the picture to look more closely.

No indeed, it isn't an ordinary room at all. You see, the walls are alive and moving. They slowly expand and contract. They must be breathing! Yet there is more. A big rat seems to stand against one wall and this little window has a big eye looking at me and that one eye moves very slowly too! Is it studying me? Is the eye alone?

All of this is happening right here, in this black and purple room. Worst of all? This room is surrounded by the blackest black of the darkest night of the year. There is no way out.

I stay there. I have to stay there. Perhaps I'll stay there only for tonight. Perhaps I'll be here tomorrow too. I may be here forever.

C'est la vie. More importantly, I did put on a sexy outfit!

When I found I needed companionship, I conjured my Kittynou into virtual 3-D too, and that kitty seems so alive to me.

Seeming is not quite the same thing as alive, but that doesn't matter either. Seeming is good enough.

I also bought some Halloween candy to avoid getting too hungry! Then I conjured a glass, too. I'm not sure what I'll put in it after the champagne is gone. I'll find something.

Now I'll wait to see what happens. Especially since I've left my room open. Anyone can come, and God knows what could happen ...

Halloween Searches

There are tons of pages about Halloween. This search has a countdown clock. Lots of people are tracking this event. This is a good intro page/search.

Bing's Get Ready for Halloween page. You can look at an incredible variety of costumes.

Shopping for decorations gets its own search.

Apple cider brings fall memories and thoughts of past Halloweens, hay rides, and parties to many.

Halloween has changed. Let's look at pictures from last year. We had to re-work that one to get more pictures of real people. Here is our new version for 2013. and the 1950s. The big issue in our modern era is Halloween safety.

Next up we add two searches: Halloween music, and horror movies on the net.

Halloween costumes are always big, this time of year. We begin our own preparations. We had a Roaring 20s bash on October 28th to celebrate 90 years of Toastmasters. Every era has styles we now refer to as costumes. The Roaring 20s are a good example. Here are a bunch of pictures. This time, let's look at what people wore as captured by photographs. Most of those were women, so here is a men's fashion page.
