Greetings fellow Cytonians!

"If you do not have a PayPal account and wish to sign up to donate to the "Save CT" cause, please use the below link. When you signup they will add $5.00 to my account. I will then donate ALL the monies received to Cybertown. I have personally already made a $25 contribution already."~Wovencroft

Wovencroft's Paypal referral referral address: Wovencroft@bigfoot.com

This has also been verified and used by jdb_educator
The correct email to send the donation to is: togips@earthlink.net

There are certain PayPal rules that must be met to get the "free" $5.00 referral fee. Read them carefully. There is also a Quasi-Cash payment, if used, Banks may charge a cash advance on your credit cards. Likely the best choice is "service" By donating we are potentially providing a needed service to Cybertown.:)

In verifying this story, I ended up with a personal account. I sent in $50.00 cash for both my wife and myself. Be warned the one page application cheerfully kicks you back for errors. The most common problem, (according to tech) with that page, is that people forget to click on the "read user agreement and privacy policy". That was exactly my bonehead error! The section is located at the bottom of the form and does not become highlighted. I entered about 6 passwords before I called and chatted with a tech... The form automatically clears passwords for any error in resetting. The message of what is needed to be fixed is clearly stated at the top of the rest page." ~jdb_educator

Please note what Karyll has to say next (this has been updated: 6/24!) :(edited again slightly):

"This is just to let you know that Hawk states a number of solutions are being worked on to keep Cybertown alive.

Please reassure your staff and citizens that everything IS being done to keep our community going and they, as we all are, are extremely hopeful that all will be well.

You will see a paypal account being passed around Cybertown. This is a legitimate Hawk paypal account and Cybertown is now sure of the legal ramifications of requesting donations. Our legal eagles have assured us that we may solicit donations so long as we are clear that the efforts at keeping CT online may or may not succeed.

Any monies deposited IN this account are being held UNtouched until it is determined whether this is viable approach, and if not viable for any reason, the money will be returned to the donator.

If you or anyone is unsure of anything's legitimacy then wait, ask and follow through to find out FIRST.

I Will try and keep you updated as we get information about progress and situations.

Thanks
Karyll, CL of Inner Realms
