Saturday, Yesterday, was the 139th running of the Kentucky Derby. The Triple Crown of racing began with the Derby, and the annual Race for the Roses has begun. Post time (and TV time) was 6:24 p.m. ET on NBC, which was running over 14 hours of coverage for this event.
Here is the field of 19 horses scheduled to run. See the odds and reasons why each of the listed horse might have won, and reasons why each might not. The second Crown is the Preakness Stakes in June, followed by the third jewel of racing, the Belmont Stakes.

Star Wars Day
May Fourth was Star Wars Day. Dang, guess I need to add that date to my calendar. My focus was on the Kentucky Derby! So here it is Sunday and I guess we are celebrating three different orbs today! Here is our second orb story, and may the fourth be with you. There are links to four Star wars parodies in the story below, although one is just collected references from 30 Rock. All here, and all obviously orbit within the Star wars universe. So ... "May the Farce be with you"http://www.today.com/entertainment/may-fourth-be-you-also-these-great-star-wars-parodies-6C9682723
CVN Changes
And finally let us take a look at some historic orbs discovered in Mexico from Yahoo! a couple of days ago. We think there may be a book or movie in this discovery:http://news.yahoo.com/archaeologists-hundreds-mysterious-metal-orbs-below-mexico-temple-170036545.htmlArchaeologists Find Hundreds of Mysterious Metallic Orbs Below Mexico’s ‘Temple of the Feathered Serpent’
"We can not yet establish its role because it is an unprecedented discovery. They should have a sphere, ranging from 4 to 12 inches and have a core of clay with organic matter, then covered them with pyrite, a mineral that underwent a process of oxidation and became jarosite, hence have a tone yellow," archaeologist Jorge Zavala said, according to the National Institute of Archaeology and History.
CVN Changes
We do have several older, ongoing projects that need work on and they are listed below. Each will be changing over the next year. We will alert you when they are ready. Anyone want to help?
