Welcome to CVN Weekly's Exploration of Gaia2 at 3dplanets.com

Our several publications are full of creativity, exploration, resources, and just having fun .

July 10, 2013 Volume 15 issue 14: #293

Our weekly issue #293 continues our exploration of 3d Planets planet Gaia 2. It began last week with our 8 screenies on http://cvnweekly.50megs.com/292/gaia2-3dp.html . We spent a couple more hours over the week reading and gathering screenies for this wrap up tour. Our tour copies the site story information of the planets we explore. Traveling through Highpoint reminds me of Cybertown. There is way too much there to put together a complete screen show. It is tiring to travel, take screen shots and comprehend what I am seeing for the first time. Rather than catch everything, what I have here will serve as an introduction. I'll skip the other areas here, and move on to the remaining areas of Gaia2, in order to finish part two of this journey as blithely promised before we started touring.

Gaia2: Introduction

Imagine a futuristic planet with little dry land. A planet covered in water that has evolved into a nautical and airborne society held together by determination and ingenuity.

The inhabitants of this flourishing planet live not only on incredible floating cities upon the surface of the ocean and in the air, but also deep beneath the waves.

Because of the planet's rotation, axial tilt, and short year, Gaia 2 enjoys a constant climate, there are no storms and the ambient temperature hovers around 75 degrees fahrenheit. A constant light breeze makes this a sailors paradise.

Oceania, Skyhome, are covered in the first tour link above. This week we quickly pass through Highpoint, ignore the Asteroid Belt (which has links on all the planets and touch on Subterranea

Next came Highpoint ZONES IN THIS HEMISPHERE

http://cvnweekly.50megs.com/293/3.jpg Highpoint Station ... Gaia 2's jewel in the sky! This is the site for Gaia's military base, it's technical labs, recreational facilities and of course, the Tortuga Quadrant.

The SpaceComm Quadrant is the main military base for Gaia 2, monitoring and enforcing all planetary defenses. Working in conjuction with the Aerie Zone, their teleportation defense system (TDS) is highly effective in deterring potential invaders and smugglers.

Tortuga is closely monitored by the military forces of SpaceComm Quadrant and is rumored to contain the Resistance, a group of radicals bent on overthrowing the military dictatorship of Highpoint. It is said that anything you may wish to purchase that isn't readily available through legitimate channels can be bought here ... for a price.

The RecFac Quadrant employs cutting-edge Holographic-Imaging technology first developed in the Stratus Zone to provide the residents of Highpoint with the best in recreatioal facilities. Their HoloPods can provide the discriminating viewer with any form of entertainment they can imagine and the encounter is so realistic that many become addicted to the experience.

The TechLab Quadrant contains GenVironments newest cutting-edge technological facilities and houses many leading individuals in the areas of Astronomy, Cybernetics, Robotics and Computer Science. A steady stream awe-inspiring devices and discoveries emerge from it's labs and are the main source of income for the Highpoint Station.

Finally, Subterranea. We wrap up Gaia2 with a three screen shots of Subterranea. The largest screenie is 239kb.
